Disney‘s upcoming female-centric animated musical “Moana” is still searching for its titular character, but just landed a big name in a supporting role.

Earlier this week, TheWrap reported that Dwayne Johnson was poised to make a deal to voice Maui, a demi-god who helps Moana on an adventure. On Wednesday, Johnson confirmed the news on Twitter, writing that he was “excited to star” in the “incredible story.”

The film’s official synopsis, per TheWrap:

“Moana,” a CG-animated comedy-adventure from “The Little Mermaid” team of Ron Clements and John Musker, is set in the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania. Moana, a born navigator, searches for a fabled island and her incredible journey teams with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, as they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

The role of Moana herself is still up for grabs. “Moana” is due in theaters sometime in 2016.
